The Lewisham

The brief

Located at the beautiful Dartmouth Golf Club, a renovation was carried out on one of the historic buildings to create a new, stunning restaurant; The Lewisham. Gastro food is created with fusion influences and home grown ingredients sourced from the surrounds of the golf course.

The new restaurant, aiming to create an upmarket feel offering quality food and cocktails to the players, community and families, needed a brand to suit.

The solution

Armed with the vision for The Lewisham and mood boards of the spectacular interior design, we were ready to set about creating the logo, typography, style for the food and drinks menus, signage and collateral.

The final logo typography is a traditional serif font, matching the classical old building where the restaurant is located. This has been modernised with a gold, pastel colour pallet and custom illustrations which reflect the surroundings and home grown ingredients of herbs and flowers.

Invitation & Menu Design

With the invitation and menu design, we have created a consistent feel across the drinks and food menus using slightly different pallets for differentiation. Here the illustrations of foliage and tie in to the handmade and home grown values of the venue. The designs are stylishly minimal and easy to read.
