IMI was founded to bring together several disciplines of medical illustration, and has since set and maintained standards for the professionals. They represent Clinical Photographers, Healthcare Designers, Medical Artists, and Clinical Video Producers.
Members of IMI are provided with a network of fellow professionals, working together to improve and develop medical illustration through conferences, courses and regional meetings.
IMI were looking for a new website with a flexible CMS that could be easily updated and an integrated membership system. The website needed to entice users to join along with making the process of applying easier.
The new website is built in Wordpress enabling users to consistently update content. The membership system allows reflection and CPD, a searchable directory and profile pages.
Along with the simplified functionality we have developed their brand by adding the colour purple and using bold typography. This ensures the site meets the colour contrast accessibility ratio standards.
