The brief

Yes Waste is Yorkshire’s friendliest rubbish removal service. After meeting the team we fully understood their dedication to ethically and reliably remove rubbish from people’s homes and businesses. They are the team to call when you have a job that needs doing.

Our brief was to refresh the Yes Waste brand, ensuring it had an appeal to domestic and commercial clients with a professional structure.

Branding

We developed several concepts and iterations for the logo at first, this part was vital to get right. The logo icon is an anagram of the Y and W which has a familiarity to the shape of a skip, something the audience can identify with. The circle with the arrow was added as the on-demand service is prompt and the team are always on the move.

The bright colours and friendly typefaces chosen soften the brand to give the wide appeal to home and business users of the service. A hint of blue in the branding allows us to highlight calls to action and a differentiator to enhance the brand. In application, the brand has been applied to vehicle livery, uniforms and stationery with a full set of brand guidelines to ensure consistency in reproduction.

Website Design

The fully responsive website for Yes Waste has been designed with users and search engines in mind. At first glance, it’s clear that Yes Waste offers rubbish removal services in Yorkshire, their primary place of business. Users are then directed to either domestic or business service.

Clear, bold panels with supporting graphics make the site easy to use and read for the varying target audiences. Throughout, testimonials and accreditations are highlighted to build trust with the users who’ve not yet used the business.

Ongoing SEO & Social Media

Since launching the website, we’ve been working closely with Yes Waste to develop content for blogs, create guest posts for backlinks and build their online presence to drive awareness and traffic.

In the first month, the site is ranking on Google for their core keyword phrases and traffic has increased by 45% on the previous site. This is driving direct enquiries to the business and they are busier than ever.
